Crocodile Dock,
this year’s Vacation Bible School, where fearless kids shine God’s light!!! Please set aside the week of June 29 ~ July 3 for VBS 2009, a week of exploring God’s Word down by the Bayou! The adventure takes place from 9-Noon each day. So hop on a flat-bottom boat and drift through lazy, hazy waters under tall cypress trees... until the big adventure begins!

Peace's goal is to complete a project which will serve to further the proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Peace congregation and to the community at large, now and into the future.  To do that we are focusing first on getting our facilities in line with better serving our core ministries that reach the most people, the biggest part of the time.  And those ministries would be a) worship, b) spiritual growth hour (Adult & Child Sunday School), and c) spiritual fellowship activities.
 
The project that we have voted on and our now pursuing entails a remodeling of the current sanctuary, narthex, and bathrooms. It also expands the narthex and adds fellowship and classroom space.  It will also have a welcoming covered drop-off/entrance area. 
Come and check out our progress starting in the late summer of 2009!  To God be the glory!
