There is still good news!

Thank you for celebrating Easter with me! I had a wonderful time with all of you. 

I have to tell you, Easter really hit me this year. As I finished preaching and turned around to join you in confessing our faith, I was overcome by the great promise: in all the ups and downs of our lives, there is still good news. 

• You broke a relationship with someone in the family? There is good news. Jesus has connected himself to you and wants a relationship with you.
• You lost a job? There is good news. You have a calling. 
• You are sick of fighting with others? There is good news. Jesus has given you peace with the God of heaven and earth. 

Over and over we hear that there is still good news. 

I had so many great moments this Easter. I hope you did too. One of my favorites was seeing a few friends from Plainwell LifeCare Center. I get to see them each week and share the good news with them. This week they came to share with us!
