A big thank you to Joe Olivares for attending our 2026 district convention! 

Joe and pastor had a good time. Joe did a great job listening, participating and learning. He would like to share a few take aways from this years convention: 

  1. Chapel singing was great. 
  2. The orgizational effectiveness and complexity done by pastors and teachers and lay people who all have other jobs is impressive. There are so many people doing so many things! 
  3. Staying in the dorm was a good time. Much cooler and nicer than expected. 

It's wonderful to be part of a denomination like the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. We do a lot of good together and have a solid foundation.
